Things I LOVE Thursday!

by Madison on June 7, 2012

Man. Thursday came SO quickly this week.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. (faaaar from it. I wish for a week full of Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays on repeat) Just sayin’.

There are many things I fall in and out of love with during the week. For example, I thought I was in love with the shellac nail polish system (it claims it lasts for two weeks), I mean – I got it done and was hardcore in love with this product. My nails looked fantastic. For about four days….. until I peeled the shellac right off. Now my nails look like a war zone. No lie. So, shellac love is over.

Given my penchant for falling in and out of love so quickly. I tried to choose some things for today’s TILT where I knew the love would last. This was difficult, but here they are….

1) Run Montana

This site is pretty dang AWESOME. We all know about my love for Montana. I could go on about how great it is for a very very long time, and in fact have gone on, at length (ad nauseam (why don’t I use this saying more often? It is hilarious! To go on about something to the point of nausea? Haha. I feel like anyone who knows me has probably used this saying once or twice… “she talked about running ad nauseam”, “Madison discussed the benefits of Pilates ad nauseam”…also, it is worth mentioning that Steve Carrell hosted a segment with Ad Nauseam as the title on the Daily Show in the early 2000′s (thanks Wikipedia)))

ANYHOW. This site shows you all the races coming up in this great state for the whole year. Pretty. Dang. Awesome. Running? Awesome. Running in the mountains? Even better.

The End.

2) Hot Sauce

I love spicy things.

I am in love with this.

Chipotle and Hot Sauce? Genius.

You can add it to eggs. You can add it to chicken. You can pretty much put it on anything. (well. not anything.)

3) Sunny Mornings

It’s amazing how a sunny morning can make all the difference in, well, life.

This was the view encountered on my morning run. Gorgeous. It’s amazing that about 30 minutes before this photo took place, I was not looking forward to going outside, as I read on my trusty weather app that it was extremely windy. It WAS windy. But, If I hadn’t of sucked it up and just went outside… I never would’ve seen this AWESOME view and felt the warmth of the sun on my back. (I know, I know, I am SUCH a poet.)

4) Lululemon

This one really needs no explanation. I don’t know why its taken so long for it to debut in my TILT post’s.

Flattering. Comfortable. Pre-Shrunk. Little Pockets for keys and lipbalm. Interesting Colours. Is it a wonder I love this stuff?

How could you not?

Also? Lookie what I found in the newspaper this morning.

From a business perspective..there is also a lot of Lulu to love.

5) Bedtime

I have openly admitted to anyone who cares, (don’t let me fool you.. no one really does) that I LOVE going to bed early. I actually do not mind crawling into bed when it is still light outside. It actually makes me feel like a kid.

I hate being tired.

I hate having bags under my eyes and feeling like a zombie.

I also do not posses the ability to sleep in on weekends. Therefore, I need to get my sleep during the week.

I thought this was a huge character flaw. Until my mom informed me that I’ve always been this way. I’ve always needed to go to bed early and I’ve always been a “girl who needs her sleep”.

My mom always says the best stuff. I am just a girl who loves her bed, who loves her sleep and functions best on 8-9 hours, anywhere between the hours of 9pm-8am.

That’s just how I roll.

Well folks. There it is. 5 things I LOVE and will (hopefully) continue to love for a long while.

Thursday is here! Friday will be here sooooon! There is much to love!

Enjoy your day!
